Older People's Action Group (LEOPAG)
LEOPAGs aim is "to promote the inclusion and integration of all older people in the community, to aim for equality of access to information and services, to promote a positive attitude to ageing by giving a voice to older people."
Pop-In: This was started in 2001 and is still going strong. It is held on a Monday between 10.30am - 12 noon at the Lane End Youth and Community Centre in Edmonds Road, Lane End.
Action Group: Meetings are hold at the Youth & Community Centre, Edmonds Road, Lane End, HP14 3EJ (Map) at 2pm on the 1st Thursday in the month. A soup / sandwich / pudding lunch is available beforehand between 12 noon and 1.00 pm..

The detailed Aims & Objectives for the group are:
1. To promote the inclusion and integration of all older people in the community.
2. To aim for equality of access to information and services
3. To promote a positive attitude to ageing by giving a voice to older people and acting as a watchdog, researcher, communicator and pressure group
4. To be democratic, non-sectarian, not affiliated to or connected directly with any political party or political organization, non-profit making, to liaise with but not be controlled by any Local Authority.
The aim of the Group is to provide opportunities to socialise and to encourage continued physical and mental activity in the 50 plus age group.
