All other meetings are held in the Parish Council Offices, and all meetings start at 10am for coffee with the business from 10.30
Here are some minutes of recent meetings:
VOPAG (Village Older People's Action Group) This group has been set up as part of the Chalfont St Peter Village Appraisal to give the older people of the village the opportunity to meet together as citizens and exchange views, news and information of interest and concern. The group now has 99 members (no membership fee) and about 50 attend each meeting.
It provides an authoritative voice to take up issues with people who can do something about them. It is part of the national BGOP "Better Government for Older People" movement. Its work is also helping to develop the Bucks county-wide strategy and to improve services for older people in general.
We have regular speakers at our meetings and also an information point in Budgens supermarket once a month (on the last Tuesday of each month from 10-12). Leaflets are on display and any problems brought to us by the general public are raised on their behalf with the appropriate authority.
If you wish to highlight an issue that concerns you - or just want a coffee and a chat come along and join us, we meet once a month in the Chalfont St Peter Parish Council Office 10.30am - 12.30pm. The general meetings start at 10.30am for coffee, with the business or speaker starting at 11.00am. These meetings are held alternately on Tuesday and Thursday
