Caribbean Elderly Hairoun Day Centre
The Caribbean Elderly
Hairoun Day Centre is a charity run day centre, which has been in existence for
over 20 years. It is open to clients Monday to Thursday, providing transport
where possible and freshly cooked meals. It caters for all elderly people in the
community irrespective of race or religion. It is totally wheelchair accessible.
Clients engage in a range of activities including wheelchair based exercise,
crafts, card games and dominoes. Referrals are welcomed from social services,
GPs, family/friends or self referral. We can also help clients by referring them
to other agencies such as welfare benefits advisers, chiropodists etc.
