Improving the Lives of Family Carers in Buckinghamshire

If you are looking after a family member or friend who needs help because they are ill, frail or have a disability, then you are a family Carer. Being a Carer brings its own rewards but it can also be hard work, both physically and mentally.

Many family Carers also face isolation, poverty, ill health and depression. Carers Bucks is a charity that works in partnership with family Carers to support them in their caring role by providing information, advice, advocacy and emotional support. This website aims to provide information regarding the help and support Carers Bucks can provide and the wider support which is available from national and local organisations.

Carers Bucks is an independent charity and a company limited by guarantee, established in 2004 to support unpaid, family Carers in Buckinghamshire. Carers Bucks was formed by the merger of the Aylesbury Vale and the South Bucks Carers Centres to create a single point of contact for Carers in Buckinghamshire

We are part of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers Network, which has 141 Carers Centres around the UK. We have offices in Aylesbury and High Wycombe and we manage the Carers’ Centre in Milton Keynes.
